You've Never Seen Cello Like This: Ben Sollee Comes to Hush Puppy on October 7th!
Mark your calendars and tell your friends, because our next show is one you will not want to miss. On Tuesday, October 7th, the Hush Puppy Music Co-op is incredibly proud to welcome a true innovator, Ben Sollee, to the stage at Old City Hall.
If you think you know what a cello can do, Ben Sollee is here to expand your imagination. This isn't classical music—it's folk, soul, bluegrass, and powerful storytelling, all built around the mesmerizing and unexpected sounds of his cello. He's a Kentucky native whose captivating performances have graced stages from Bonnaroo to NPR's Tiny Desk.
We are also thrilled to start the evening with a very special opening set from Little Mazarn. Hailing from Austin, this folk duo (often a trio!) crafts beautifully sparse and hauntingly lovely music using banjo, singing saw, and ethereal vocals. Their unique sound is the perfect complement to the night. Get a taste of their magic with this gorgeous, reimagined cover of a classic.
This is an evening of unparalleled artistry and creativity, right here in Greenwood. We can't wait to share it with you.
