A FREE community celebration with food, music, and dancing. The perfect finale to our Spring 2026 Concert Series.
About The Music: Los Preeminentes
The stars have aligned… it’s Cinco de Mayo, it’s Taco Tuesday, and we are thrilled to host Leflore County’s own Los Preeminentes for a night of authentic norteña music.
Norteña is a vibrant, rhythmic tradition from Northern Mexico, characterized by the soulful sound of the accordion (acordeón) and the rhythmic pulse of the bajo sexto. It’s music for celebration, for storytelling, and most definitely for dancing.
Los Preeminentes bring this rich tradition to life right here in the Mississippi Delta, creating a unique cultural bridge and guaranteeing a lively, joyful atmosphere for our season finale.
Venue & Logistics: A True Community Partnership
This special finale is made possible thanks to our wonderful partners at San Miguel Arcangel Restaurant in Greenwood.
Dinner & Drinks: Their full menu will be available. We encourage you to come early, grab a table, and enjoy a meal before the music starts.
Dancing: Space will be cleared to create a dance floor. Get ready to move!
Parking: Available in the restaurant lot.
Family-Friendly: This is an all-ages, community event.
A Thank You to Our Community
This free concert is our way of saying thank you to Greenwood and the surrounding community for your incredible support of Hush Puppy Music Coop and Season 4.
It also celebrates the vibrant cultural tapestry of our town. We are so proud to collaborate with a local Latino-owned business to present this event.
This show is the official finale of our Spring 2026 Concert Series and Season 4.
